A Privy Place

We have constructed this treebog in amongst a broadleaf woodland where access to any facilities is nil.

Wikipedia defines a treebog as, "a type of low-tech dry toilet. It is a hole in the ground (similar to a pit latrine), with any of a wide range of species planted around it. It can be considered an example of permaculture design, as it functions as a system of converting urine and faeces to biomass, without the need to handle excreta. The problem is the solution."

They key is to have willow trees around the loo as they are a heavy feeding tree and will gladly take what you give.

So, for those of you who have a large bit of land and would like a privy place of your own, or perhaps you have a small corner that you need a place to 'go', we would love to help you realize your privy dreams.
